TAM COTTON
Village Office Prima
Education
University of Houston 2000 BA Theater/Dance
Tam is a dancer with 23+ years of teaching under her dance wrap. As a professional dancer for a number of dance companies, she volunteered time to outreach programs, sat on the board of non-profit dance organizations in both Houston and Dallas, and had the pleasure of stage managing many dance performances.
As a teacher, she established performing dance companies, which provided her students with opportunities to express their love of movement to a wider audience, thus encouraging the next generation of teachers and performers. She retired from teaching in 2013 to pursue her DPT, but found a new calling when she embarked on a summer adventure in 2015 and found home in the PNW. After meeting mentor and friend, Jon Eng, she discovered she had a knack for front office management. This Texas transplant now enjoys exploring new terrain and taking in any unique experiences.
